    June 5th, evaluation for '6. Major 2'

1.What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
    - The purpose of speech was to tell audience how Youtube has changed people's lives. It was supported by several reasons and very well delivered.

2.Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    - I could not find one. The statistic part was somehow like a hook but I think the presenter went right into the body part without intro.

3.Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    - Yes because she gave reasons why she likes Youtube and how effective it is to human being. But I think the Justin Bieber example at 'helping people get discovered' was a bit ambiguous because that singer also has to do with entertainment industry and this makes her next reason, 'revolutionized entertainment' like a repetition.

4.Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
    - I could not find clear conclusion. It might have been better to just list again her points why Youtube is awesome.

5.Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids,
    - I could feel that the speaker is enthusiastic as she keeps talking about the same subject. It seemed that she really love Youtube. Her visual was very effective and organized very clearly.

6.What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
-Half of her body was concealed by podium so I could not notice something useful about her gesture and body languages. But I saw she constantly checking what's on the podium. Maybe note card, but she looked down very often.

7.Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
    - Sound was good. And I think she is native speaker that she is perfect in enunciation and pronunciation.
