    Generic Presentation Evaluation

    What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
    She talks about ice skater Yuna Kim, expresses her admiration for her, and explains how Yuna motivates her to accomplish her goals. It was addressed very well, in a enthusiastic manner.

    Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    Yes, the hook was actually good. Makes you wonder what person she is talking about.

    Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    Yes. She uses her own experiences to support her idea and also facts. The transitions are good.

    Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
    Yes. The conclusion fits the theme of the speech and it is pretty memorable since she clearly tells us how Yuna influenced her way of living.

    Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
    Apart from visual aid, she had everything.

    What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
    Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
    Everything was good but I couldn’t understand very well sometimes and she tends to look down a lot throughout the whole speech. Other than that everything is fine.

    she talked about importance of breakfast. Breakfast is so important for our healthy life. it`s so great.
    Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    Yes. There are some questions as hooks. It became clearer than last.
    Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    Yes. There are appropriate examples and evidences, especially scientific.
    Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
    Yes. I could easily remember the conclusion.
    Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
    Perfect.
    What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
    Was the volume good? Did the speaker enunciate and pronounce clearly? Could everything be understood?
    good but intonation is so normal, if it could be improved, this presentation will be a better thing.

    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech? Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
    You talked about some who motivates you, who is Yuna Kim. You talk about the reasons why you admire her, and Yuna’s achievements. It was well set out, and I think it was well addressed.

    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    The hook was good, because you kind of linked all of the audiences together. It made me think about my role model, and made me concentrate more on your speech.

    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    I think your structure was strong and logical. You gave reasons why you admire her clearly. Also you give adequate examples, and they were quite specific. Also your ideas seemed to be linked well together.

    I think your conclusion was very strong. You had it all sorted out clearly, and the main points were summarized well. It was clean and understandable. I also think the length of it was adequate, too.

    You didn’t use any visual aids, but I don’t think it mattered much. You used your pauses well, and you seemed enthusiastic in talking about this topic. This helped me concentrate on your speech more.

    Your body gestures were good, but I think it would have been better if you used your hands a little bit more. Your eye contacts were great though. You seemed quite relaxed. .

    I think your voice was clear and audible. Also the tone of your voice was good, and you seemed happy to give your presentation. I could understand you very clearly, and your speed was good, too.

    1. What was the overall purpose of the speech. Try to restate or summarize the main point. How well was it addressed?
    She introduced the people who she admires and she states why she admires Yuna Kim with solid reasons. She mentions Yuna Kim's achievements and how she motivated the speaker's life.

    2. Was there a hook? Was it effective? How could it have been improved?
    Yes the hook was clearly stated but it could have been much better if she had used some visual aids.

    3. Was the structure logical? Point supported by evidence or examples? Good transitions between ideas?
    Yes it was. She suggested appropriate and detailed examples, explaining the reasons why she admires Yuna Kim and how she motivated the presentation giver.

    4. Was the conclusion concise? Were main points restated or summarized? Was the closing memorable?
    It was concise and manifest. The main points were briefly mentioned, and the closing part where she connected himself with the subject of the speech was quite memorable.

    5. Did the speaker use enthusiasm, pauses, humor, visual aids?
    Yes she did. I could see she tried hard to put a lot of effort to the presentation.

    6. What did you notice about the speaker’s body language? Posture, eye contact, gestures.
    She showed some gestures, trying to make sure she was not standing too stiff. She made constant eye contact with the audiences. Her overall posture and gestures were above what was expected.

    The volume was very clear, with very nice intonation and stable pronunciation.
