Speech Value (Interesting, meaningful to audience) 2 Preparation (Research, rehearsal) 2 Organization (Logical, clear) 3 Opening (Attention-getting, led into topic) 2 Body (Flowed smoothly, appropriate support material) 3 Conclusion (Effective) 2 Transitions (appropriate, helpful) 2 What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective? -I like his confident and the way he performance the presentation, but it would be better to show some evidence to support his argument about how does the cheap labor could give economic advantage for both country (cooperating country) or to Latin America itself, and also more visual aids to get audiences’ attention. What did you like about the presentation? -The topic was very familiar to me because I have been living in Latin America for many years. Apart from that his confident and the way he performance without seeing any notes reminded me somewhat ted talk speakers.

Preparation (Research, rehearsal) 2 – Yes, he mentioned about three economic advantages in Latin America with simple visual aids. Organization (Logical, clear) 1 – It was organized in logical order. Opening (Attention-getting, led into topic) 2 – He had a good opening by asking questions about Latin America to get audience’s attention. Body (Flowed smoothly, appropriate support material) 2 –He explained well about his topic by telling some examples and evidence to support his argument. Conclusion (Effective) 2 – He concluded clearly. Transitions (appropriate, helpful) 2 – I think he has no problem in using transitions; he was very smooth and fluent.
