Title: Artificial Intelligence: red wine Evaluator: JAE WON CHOI( Tuesday9) Date: 5/29
Speech value: 5-I liked the topic a lot. It was quite interesting and well delivered.
Preparation 5- it was well prepared. There were some difficult terms and he knew well about them
Organization 5-the organization was good
Opening 4- the opening was good but could’ve been a bit more interesting if he used some interesting visuals or examples
Body 5- nothing wrong here I liked it. Only some terms were hard to pronounce but that was understandable
Conclusion 4- it was okay but maybe he could’ve made his conclusion a bit more stronger
Transitions 5 tansitions were okay no major problem.
What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective? I liked the overall speech. I got to know about new information. In the future he could try to calm down a bit before presenting so that he doesn’t look nervous.
Title: Red wine Evaluator: Heo sung ji Speaker: Lim Kyu Jin
Speech value 3 : His topic was interesting that red wine is helpful to us. But his eye contact is a little deficient. Maybe it will be better that he memorizes script and uses his body such as using hand or moving around. Preparation value 4 : He researched information well for his speech and he made visual aid. Visual aid helped audience to follow and understand his speech. Organization value 4 : He suggested reasons about why red wine is helpful to our health. There were 3 reasons and maybe this was ‘topical’ Opening 3 : He started his speech our situation about drinking, but I think this couldn’t get audience attention because this is a little normal. His topic was interesting, so it will be better to open with some questions or testimony. Body 3 : He suggested 3 reasons. As professor said before ‘3’ is magic number. The reason he said were appropriate, and his visual aid helped to follow his reasons. Also, he explained some medical terms well. Conclusion 3 : He said his reasons again, but this is normal and short. It will be better to suggest something or calling to action. Transitions 3 : He transfer next stage smoothly, for example, opening to body was natural, and in this course we can recognize why he prepare this speech. Overall his transitions were natural, but they were not interesting.
